Magic Beans for Amateur Writers, Wattpad making writers famous!

 Imagine you finally decide to post your story on an online platform. It was just for fun! You did not expect something big from it. You start to gain a few readers who love your work, and after a few months, things start to get crazy, you reach a million reads. You are happy about it and can't believe you did it, this encourages you to write more. One day all of a sudden, you receive a call from the company your story is published on. They tell you the big news, news which makes you a famous author of the story published as novels and adapted in a movie or series.


This actually happened to some amateur writers, and their lives changed drastically. They never imagined that their story would be made into movies and shows.

All this happened, thanks to their talent and the most comprehensive online story platform called Wattpad.

Wattpad provides a vast platform for users to spend time reading different stories they are interested in or those who want to post stories.  This large community of over 60 million (which I'm proudly part of) helps each other grow by sharing their work and reading them. Moreover, providing comments and suggest ideas to fellow Wattpaders.

The extremely popular Netflix series "After" and the movie "The Kissing Booth" are the stories from authors on Wattpad Anna Todd. She was an ordinary amateur writer, sharing her stories with her small group of readers and soon gained popularity. Now we can see she became an online sensation.

As a part of the Wattpad community, I feel it's a sweet mutual bond between writers and readers, which encourages both to improve and share their views and ideas. Sometimes readers turn into these amazing authors who get big deals like Hollywood. But Hollywood or not, the readers' love and interest will be the best motivation and encouragement for the writers. Wattpad understands it an helps us make this community bloom.

    This was so interesting to read, I had no idea that The Kissing Booth started out as a Wattpad story! It's very cool that websites like this allow new authors to share their work with the world via internet, without having to find an agent or specifically advertise. In the same way that people become famous "influencers" by posting videos on YouTube, people can also become published authors by posting their writing. Obviously it still takes quite a good amount of luck to become famous, but technology has evolved to make it a valid possibility for anyone who wants to try.
